Step One
Please make sure that your executive summary contains all of the following:
- Business description
- Team summary
- Product description, including technology and application
- Sustainable competitive advantages
- Execution plan: including sales strategy
- Capital requirements

Step Three
One of Wavepoint's investment professionals will review your executive summary. This process typically takes several weeks. If we believe that there is a potential fit with our investment objectives, we will contact you regarding a face-to-face meeting. If this meeting is satisfactory, we may elect to pursue more detailed due diligence.
The Wavepoint due diligence process generally takes from six to twelve weeks, but can be significantly shortened under some circumstances. This process typically includes:
- Numerous meetings with management
- Detailed analysis of technology, competition and market
- Detailed review of financial statements, projections and potential exit options
- Reference checks on management, partners and customers
Our objectives in this process are to get to know you and to gain an understanding of both the opportunities and risks in your business.
If the results of our due diligence are satisfactory, we will discuss the potential structure of an investment. Our goals in this process are to establish a long-term strategy that will provide access to capital as required, ensure proper incentives for all parties, and help you to develop an investor syndicate, management team, board, and advisers who will maximize the likelihood of the company's success.
