Team: Strong, cohesive founding team with a track record of success, domain experience in the markets they are pursuing, and a solid blend of technical expertise and executive management experience.

Capital Efficiency: Capital requirements of no greater than $25 million to reach positive cash flow and a reasonable capital formation strategy.

Large, Fast-Growing Target Markets: Market opportunities of more than $500 million that are readily addressable to a start-up company with limited resources.  

Industry-leading, Defensible Technology: Intellectual property that provides a measurable improvement over alternative solutions and a sustainable competitive advantage, allowing your company the time to secure a leadership position and fend off competitors.

Clear, Convincing Value Proposition: Solutions that are required by customers today, and can clearly demonstrate a return on investment to customers while providing a strong gross margin for your company.

Practical Execution Plan: A plan that incorporates strong strategy and sound tactics while being realistic about the resources and timeframe required for success.

Liquidity Strategy: Clear visibility to a liquidity event in the three-to five-year timeframe with a clear value proposition to potential acquirers and, ideally, the potential for a public offering.

Portfolio Fit: Strategic business synergies with our other portfolio companies and the potential for syndication with other investors.
